Year End Accounting pt. 1

Shit.

Well, it’s that time of year again…the end of it. 2021 has caused a lot of fuckin’ grief for everybody that I’ve shared conversations. I honestly don’t know anyone that didn’t have a shit time of it.

So, let’s have it out.

How does it feel to know the world will continue living after we die? How does it feel to know we will never know the future? How does it feel to inhabit the same vessel and cope with the reality of never being able to revisit your memories?

But going to concerts is more than listening to music. It’s so much more than that. Many things should be experienced first hand because words fail to capture the full experience. And this is not for naught, but rather everyone picks up on different parts of the experience.

A few years ago while working on a project, a friend’s uncle asked me at 0200, “What are you doing to better yourself?” I fucking was not prepared for that kind of mind fuck at 2 in the god damn morning while working 16+ hour days.
